DAE GEE, which means ‘pig’ in Korean, is a Korean BBQ restaurant constituted in providing the freshest and dynamic food available. We also believe in the progressive thoughtfulness in being able to educate about Korean food. DAE GEE is the integration of food, the arts and experience.
Being authentic is telling our truth in both story and through comfort food with a Korean twist. This is what we ate everyday growing up. More often than not our version of authentic meant Korean mixed with something American. But it didn’t matter because it was delicious and something we still ask our family to make for holidays or special occasions or just on a Sunday. Make it the way you want to make it. Make it the way you remember it. Make food that reminds you of people. This tells a story of community. It’s about family and for our restaurants the community that surrounds us is our family. We are improving the neighborhood by collaborating with families and inviting them to create, learn, and share experiences with each other.
